Here is the procedure of rooting Samsung Galaxy Note N7000 on Android DDLP8/DXLP9 ICS Firmware with full detailed intructions.. Also from the last few days there are so many updates available for Samsung Galaxy Note N7000 as XXLPY Firmware, DXLP9 Firmware, ZSLPF Firmware and also the new arrived update DDLP8 Firmware which is released by samsung itself or is also known as official Firmware. Here we all know that rooting will break your handset warranty. Apply this rooting process only on Samsung Galaxy Note N7000 otherwise it will damage your handset.
Before updating you will do these few steps :
1.Back up all the important data and contacts of your device using ASTRO FILE MANAGER.
2.Charge your handset to 80% or more.
3.Enable USB Debugging on your device by heading to Settings>Applications>Development>USB Debugging
4.Disable all the applications like Antivirus software,Samsung Kies PC suite.

Rooting Instructions :
1.Download DDLP8/DXLP9 Firmware and Odin in your computer.
2.Note if your phone is on DXLP9 Firmware, then you have to download DXLP9 Package and similarly for DDLP8.
3.Now extract the downloaded DDLP8/DXLP9 Firmware and Odin into your computer and switch off your handset so that it can enter into downloaded mode and Open Odin in your computer.
4.Holding both simultaneously the Volume Down key,Ok key and press the Power button. Warning message will be shown to you and now press the Volume Up key to continue enter the Download Mode.
5.Attach your handset to your PC with USB cabel and then you see that ID:COM section of Odin will get yellow which means that you successfully installed the drivers.
6.Now goto PDA on the extracted files and select the file with name “ CF-Root-SGN_DD_ODD_LP8-v5.5-CWM5.tar ” or " CF-Root-SGN_DX_OLB_LP9-v5.5-CWM5.tar ". After this goto Start button to begin the process. If you see the Home Screen Disconnect the phone from PC and switch it off so that it can be entered into the Recovery Mode.
7.You can easily enter to Recovery mode by Holding both simultaneously the Volume Down key,Ok key and press the Power button.
8.In Recovery mode select wipe data/Factory Reset and also the Wipe Cache Partition. Reboot your handset by selecting Reboot system now option.
